With a very short ramp up period, was able to successfully manage and deploy a contractual obligation with the partner CDNow. This project supports CDNow’s new Personal Buyers Club and has delivered better than expected results. RealOne Partner Subscription Services
Successfully managed a development team and deployment programs of the back and front-end architectures, 3rd party partner service offers, Integrations, and value-add technologies required to support RealNetworks’ 3rd party partner subscription business. i.e. (NASCAR, Major League Baseball, CBS Big Brother, CBS Survivor, NBA, ABC News, CNN, CBS, PGA Tour, Playboy.com, Amazon.com, AOL, Post Cereal). This effort involved the cross-pollination of key marketing, development, and support groups. This business and new system facilitated the advertised 1 million RealOne Service subscribers.
Subject matter expertise for all RealNetworks core web applications, user experiences, and development efforts. This expertise afforded the opportunity to provide Inventive solutions to other groups within the company.
Consumer Marketing, Real.com / RealOne Subscription Services / GoldPass
Primary program responsibilities included the management of the daily marketing and business requirements, schedules of consumer experiences, product email campaigns, special offers, and custom projects delivered via RealNetworks’ primary web properties and SuperPass subscription services.
Managed a development team during a two phase project involving the domestic and localized redesign of RealNetworks’ primary web applications and product offerings. Phase I was a 3-month domestic web property redesign involving the new RealOne consumer subscription offers and RealNetworks brand conversions. Phase II included a 6-month, seven language, International experience redesign involving the new RealOne consumer product, subscription offers, branding conversions, and custom geographic detection. This required an imaginative approach with technical and design teams from cross-disciplinary 3rd party localization vendors in order to meet key milestones and schedules.
Real Broadcast Network (RBN)
Responsible for the personal management of client events, signal acquisition, and digital media delivery. Also included the management of the daily business requirements, schedules, risks, and contingencies. Personal client list included but was not limited to: Oxygen Media, Major League Baseball, Sci-Fi.com, Discovery Channel Online, E*Trade Corporation, COREL Corporation, Comedy Central, CBS.com, David Letterman, CBS Big Brother, and The Vatican (Pope).
Other responsibilities and contributions included:

Consumer Systems, E-Commerce
Managed the architecture and migration of the new RealNetworks e-commerce back-end, web based user interface, and purchase experience that allowed the registration and storage of customer accounts. The results improved RealPlayer Plus sales by 15% and RealJukebox Plus sales by 21%, with an initial average of 2100 registered customers per day. These groundbreaking results are the foundation for the current RealOne Subscription business model.
