The Gaboinked! Forums are back online and will host general, specific, as well as support topics related to internet technologies and ideals.
Support and trouble shooting for any of the plugins or themes I’ve created will be provided in these forums.
Okay, I was in desperate need of allowing myself and my visitors with the ability to log into my blog with a personal experience based on usertype, (Very important for the Gaboogle It? development project I may add) so I decided to begin focusing on largely enhancing a plugin for WordPress based on the WP-UserLogin by Jerry Stephens.
The Gaboinked! login widget for WordPress adds several enhancements and personalizations. With the Gaboinked! login widget added to your sidebar, you now have support for Gravatars as well as 3rd Party plugins, WP-openID and Invite Friends. Blog members may register or log in from your blog’s front-end, and get a personalized user experience. It should work with WordPress versions 2.0 and above, but I’ve only tested it on 2.5.1 and 2.6. If anyone find anything different, please let me know!
If you’re wondering what it looks like, I’m using it here on the Gaboink! network blog! Take a look at the top of my sidebar. Although it make look simple, several hours were invested in the customizations and I’ve got bigger fish to fry in the hopper for this project, so I am asking the WordPress community and users of this plugin to make a very small contribution before downloading to help the development of Gaboogle It? for WordPress which this plugin will support. This is only a support donation so upgrades will be FREE, licensed under GPL, contribution is nominal, and the process is painless. The files will be sent to you just after donating!
I doubt that anyone argues that no two bloggers are the same, and not everyone has the time to create long, detailed, blog entries or pieces of content. Personally, I am a hybrid of the two and tend to write articles or detailed blog entries when absolutely necessary, but 80% of the time, I am more likely yo submit quick updates on a subject of the moment.
I am extremely pleased to have stumbled across the Prologue WordPress theme as I’ve been wanting to gain some experience with WordPress theme development, and what better way to do so with a theme that I could customize to suit my personal blogging habit. As a fanatic of Twitter and other microblogging platforms, I decided to fiddle around with the Prologue theme recently released to the public by the folks at Automatic, delivering a Gaboinked! version called Gaboogle?
I am a few tweaks (Not weeks!)
away from releasing this theme to the public, but I wanted to share an early preview of the Gaboogle? Prologue WordPress theme with everyone! There are a few custom plugins and added features that are not present in the original Prologue theme, and I will be releasing these to the WordPress community as soon as time permits because they can be used on any WordPress blog.
If you are interested in seeing the Gaboogled Prologue WordPress theme in action, you can do so previewing the demo.
UPDATE:
This theme has gone through many revisions since this post and is now release to the WordPress community. For more information, visit the Prologue Gaboogle? WordPress Theme release page.

Everyone seems to have a Facebook profile nowadays, so you’re probably aware that Facebook has a feature which allows you to create a Facebook badge that you can display on your blog or website.
George Jones’s Profile | Create Your Badge

With the NEW Gaboinked!
